Buying blue

A new website has opened with the purpose of listing and profiling businesses and retailers who contribute money to Democrats:

Buy Blue

Before you finish your holiday feeding frenzy, check the list and make sure you’re not unwittingly endorsing Republican contributors.

Also, you’ll notice that Amazon contributed 61% of their PAC money to Republicans. Therefor, we’ve changed all of our product links to point to Barnes & Noble who gave 98% of its political donations to Democrats this year.

Definitely good to know. I don’t order that much online anymore, but when I do I’m checking this list first.Let’s hope Santa Claus does the same.

Nifty. Except for a couple of things.1.) The democrats are just as bad, if not worse, because they do not fight against Bush in any meaningful way. Bush and his followers at least believe they are doing the right thing. Democrats say they know better, but have a look at what your “progressive” politicians do whenever Bushco has some legislation he needs to run through the congress. They passed the patriot act WITHOUT EVEN READING THE DAMN THING.2.) This website talks about how money is ruining the system, how politicians spend most of their time chasing the dollar, and how we will “never” have meaningful reform as long as our system rewards this. Wouldnt the proper thing to do be to patronize buisnesses that DONT GIVE TO POLITICIANS AT ALL? Lotta mom and pops out there, who we ought to be supporting and patronizing whenever possible anyway, why not go to fundrace.org, make sure mom nor pop are donating, and then shop there. Every company on that list is A MAJOR CORPERATION THAT DONATES TO POLITICIANS.3.) Is there any breakdown of whether these companies ACTUALLY has an agenda, or whether they are just giving to the incumbant/frontrunner so that they can get a little action from the guy they think will win?
