    1,502 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq. 60 died in February, 4 so far in March.How dare you suggest that Bob is eager for anyone to die? How dare you suggest that a progressive blog, which has been steadfastly opposed to the Iraq war, is pro-death?Your cynicism is staggering and reveals a despair in your heart. Over 50,000 Americans have been wounded since this war began, over 1,500 killed. And those are just the Americans. The numbers of Iraqi civilians are far worse. Think of the human lives lost or maimed. Think of the mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, children, friends all touched by death or brutality in this politically and economically motivated war. The architects of this war are cowards, all. The chief architects, Bush, Cheney, Libby, Feith, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, have no business sending troops into battles worse than the ones they themselves avoided.This is a war launched with a series of vile lies.     Sorry bout that one. Just fuming from some things that didnt happen here (believe me, there ARE liberals out there who HAVE been waiting for this moment), and then I see a round number post here, and when I go to the link, the link says 1499, and I got pretty pissed, for a moment, it really seemed like another site that had been honing its attack for the big moment, and was so eager that it jumped the gun.

    Very articulate Plummer. Makes me ashamed of feeling like I’m beating my head up against a wall. Think I will get off this damn thing go out and give more time and make some more appropriate donations. At least beating my head up against a wall is more productive than beating my fingers on the keyboard bitching. Keep up the good fight guys. Parting gift to you Lactar, you do not have an altogether bad mind, but you don’t know liberals like you think you do. No one who is fit to draw a breath takes any measure of comfort in any way to the deaths of those 1500 KIDS much less the misery that has been brought down on the Iraqi people. Life is truly a rich and precious thing, if you choose to waste yours, don’t do it here. You will not change anyones mind here, and unless they can change your heart, you are wasting your time.
