    Also in the news are three states (California, New York, Florida) dedicating resources for hydrogen fuel stations and R&D. I wonder if the fact that all three have Republican governors will get them any credit. Doubtful, as many will argue that the funds dedicated aren’t nearly enough to quicken the hydrogen pace to sooner than affordable cars within 15 years, but then again the states with Democrat governors haven’t joined in with anything at all. It’s time they and the rest of the states did!

    here is a picture of me next to my hummer, in which i am usually the sole passenger. i’d like for one of you sanctimonious, economics-moron whiners to explain to me how what i do along these lines is any of your business, or how you know my situation from seeing me on the highway. i pollute less than probably 90% of the “progressive” fools out there flipping off my vehicle. and i’ve ridden more miles by bicycle than probably 98% of ‘em. i can’t buy and use a hummer as i see fit? i need your permission and blessing?

    shall i come to your house and flip you off when you turn the AC down to 70, while i routinely keep my house past 85 in the summer and below 60 in the winter? shall we measure the energy and resources used by our respective meal prep methods? how about commuting? every do a real analysis of “mass” transportation, or do you just assume it’s wonderful because government is involved? if we are our brothers’ keepers in this busybody way, then i want a complete and fair analysis. otherwise, MYOB like an intelligent person. at least get your priorities straight. hummers are a red herring, and by posting such nonsense you fall right in line with the rest of the trendy hypocrites.

    ever consider how much energy and pollution is associated with one dying AIDS patient? where is your bitching and pious criticism? that was a conscious choice too for many. if fuel is your arbitrary concern (pulled out of your butt), then look to the “progressive” politicians you love who bent over and let bush rape them into the next century. the fuel from one f-16 CAP in iraq makes hummer drivers — even the city soccer types — look like saints. civilian hummers are diversion, and you are an idiot stepping to the beat of fellow jackasses.

    funny, but i doubt any of the patients operated on in winter because i drove their doctor and nurse to the hospital in my disgusting hummer (at my expense) ever flipped me off. i’ll bet you would though.
