Greenwald pummels Tom Friedman and Maureen Dowd and doesn’t let up.

Republican authoritarian warmongers who swagger around in tough guy costumes — Friedman’s Cheney and Dowd’s Giuliani — are Real Men whom we need to keep us safe. Men who don’t crave war are faggots and aggressive Democratic women are unshaven, threatening bitches. That’s the core belief of the Beltway Religion of Seriousness, as practiced on Sunday so vividly by these NYT columnists.

    Did Friedman just say, “trust me”? Only concerned about keeping himself relevant and useful to the rest of the “masked media”, he knows scare/war-mongering is the only tactic to quickly make that happen. Even if he has to eat a little shit of those who point out how fucking wrong he was/is. He’s truly confident that his mainstream peers will let him off the hook, again, and he’s right- so far. There are a lot of Friedman’s out there to diffuse. Something tells me this X-mas season the populous will be flooded with too many crises to process at one time, and opinion’s such as these will slip through. With people turning off their televisions because of the strike, they’ll have to keep us tuned in somehow.Sorry if this is undecipherable, I suck at this comment thing.
