Washington Post’s Whisper Campaign

This is an atrocity from your “liberal media”:

Despite his denials, rumors and e-mails circulating on the Internet continue to allege that Obama (D-Ill.) is a Muslim, a “Muslim plant” in a conspiracy against America, and that, if elected president, he would take the oath of office using a Koran, rather than a Bible, as did Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), the only Muslim in Congress, when he was sworn in earlier this year.

The Washington Post reported this as news — on its front page. It’s not unlike, say, Rove organizing push polls asking how South Carolinians felt about the rumors regarding Senator McCain’s illegitimate black baby.

“Despite his denials,” the Post wrote. If I had written that for my college newspaper years ago, our faculty advisor would’ve destroyed me in the post mortem because it implies guilt. Sloppy and unethical writing/editing.

    Despicable. I guess this shows he’s officially a legitimate threat to business as usual? Congratulations?I must say, I don’t know if you had anything to do with the change, but I’d much rather laugh at Tim and Eric’s faces (sidebar ads), rather than Hillary’s scary mug, or some young girl with Fred written across her tits (yuck).

    When I was young and naieve, I used to wonder how in the world that the Rise of Hitler and the holocaust could have happened in a civilised country in the 20th century. I don’t wonder anymore. I’ve seen first hand exactly how it happened, how it was allowed and how it was nurtured. You need look no further that what is happening now.History,(if we survive) will look back on this regime and see how complicit all of the media have been in perpetuating it. Not just the main propagandists such as Fox News and The Washington post, but NBC(GENERAL ELECTRIC) With the simpering idiot David Gregory, fawning over the Bushes and cavorting with Karl Rove. And those patsies Matt Lauer and (sadly) Meredith Viera all in a dither over their white house xmas party invitations. The media, all of them, ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN..the whole alphabet soup are a bunch of lazy, criminally apathetic stenographers. They are and have always been so in bed with this bloody administration since 9/11. The only people standing up to it and trying to be heard are the independent columnists and bloggers.
