Smoking You Out Of Your Hole

How the hell did I miss this? Wednesday night, Olbermann reported on a story in which New York fire officials have been:

“told to be alert for a person who is hostile, uncooperative or expressing hate or discontent with the United States.”

At last check, an ABC News poll indicated that 75 percent of Americans are discontented with the nation.

    Well sure, it seems like a lot of people for a jail cell, but if we begin giving boots, trucks, and firehoses to Halliburton officials, we can expedite the whole process. Hey, remember those little fire prevention pamphlets they gave us in school with diagrams of, oh, you know, too many rags stored next to the water heater, or too many plugs in an outlet? I bet DHS could really beef up those manuals, sort of mix-n-match prevention. Like…pictures of too many turbans next to the woodstove, or say, paint thinner and solvents stored next to a big fat stack of the Qur’ans. We can give the firemen star-spangled outfits like evel knieval, and when they are done putting out a fire, they will all join hands and sing “God Bless America” in your charcoaled livingroom.
