Clinton-Clinton ’08 Ticket Wins Nevada

The cable people are calling it for Senator Clinton and Former President Clinton who are running an unofficial ticket in the primaries. Yet Senator Obama is only around 300 votes behind. Can anyone think of a primary in which one of the candidates runs with an ex-president in their campaign stable?

I can’t.

But congratulations to the Clinton-Clinton campaign!

I’m just depressed that after all this time people are still falling for this shit. The Democrats (Clintons) have hit new lows over the last few weeks. I’m going to have a hard time voting for her if she wins the nomination. May their god(s) forgive them for the horrible things these assholes are trying to do to a great man. Do onto others, I suppose.I’m gonna go get drunk and hate people with Louis C.K., and hope that the people of South Carolina are little more informed and insightful than the people of Nevada (and that’s the censored version of what I was going to say), or it’s going to be a long drive back next Sunday.

Cesca, you are a better man than I, b/c there is no way I could congratulate Clintons. After their lawsuit to suppress the casino workers…….Honestly, pls give me one issue that Hillary is stronger on than Obama. Just one.Just one.How in the world are all these people voting for Clinton. How is this happening? It is like I am in a bad dream and cannot wake up.What is her appeal? I just don’t see it. What is appealing about her as a candidate? Her voice grates. She is scared to say what she really thinks. She is ego driven. Power hungry. Special interest campaign donor accepting, old school, fear mongering, Iranian war mongering, just not a genuine bone in her body.I am all for a woman president…just not her. Anyone but her. I’d rather see whoopie goldburg than her. This is a dark day indeed.

Don’t despair just yet. It’s not like she beat him 76% to 10% or anything. It was still close. She’s got a fight on her hands, and Barack Obama shows no sign of giving up.

I just hoped that people would start feeling that this isn’t about the country, or the condition it’s suffering from, this is all about the Clinton’s and the restoration of their legacy. That’s all they give a shit about. I have a long list of all the bullshit they’ve pulled in the last three weeks alone. I think that legacy is out the fucking window. I can’t believe how these public figures, some of which I used to respect, just can’t see how history is going to treat them. This made me grin:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/01/19/obama-camp-nevada-caucus_n_82320.html

Lets talk about issues. Hillary promotes universal healthcare, Hillary have stated on how she is going to control the oil companies and corporate America, Hillary have eleminated many of the stereotypes associated with women, Hillary have been fighting for civil rights from the 60′s. Furthermore, Obama is too affectionate of Ronald Reagan to be considered a true liberal. Obama is a Reaganite and liberals are noticing. Hillary is a great woman, and IN HILLARY WE TRUST.

Well Obama may still be the winner. There is some argument over who got the most delegates. This makes my head hurt more than a nigh of beer bongs with Pabst Blue Ribbon.

  • the_truth

I have received news about the delegates, Hillary 14, Obama 14, Hillary is projected to receive the super delegates vote from Nevada in April because she won the state. Wait, I am receiving a distress call from the Obama ship, I can’t make out all that they are saying, but I heardOh captain the ship is sinking, oh captain the tides are rough, oh captain, should we abandon ship, or should we stay on it and perish slow.Damn it, I lost the rest of the transmission, but when I get more transmission, I will let you know.

Pabst Blue Ribbon? Lords of Kobol! Have some self respect, man!I think it’s still too early to hand this to HRC. SuperTuesday will be the day we know for sure. The fun thing is neither candidate will be able to coast. They are both going to have to bust their asses out on the campaign trail.I don’t think that BO was being affectionate about RR. The way I heard it, he simply described how RR was able to seize an opportunity, to tap into that feeling that government wasn’t working and was bloated and unaccountable. One of the things the conservatives have been doing since FDR is trying to convince us all that government services that help people, like Social Security and Welfare, have been utter failures. Of course, they’ve also been trying to torpedo them from the very beginning. RR was able to capitalize on that misconception. Then he did change the direction of the country. He began to dismantle all the good things that had been done over the previous 50 years.I didn’t hear Barack Obama praise anything that Reagan did. I just heard him DESCRIBE what Reagan did. Every good progressive Democrat knows that RR was nothing more than a figurehead. The real dirty work was done by all the neocon bastards he surrounded himself with. Sound familiar?I haven’t decided to vote for any particular candidate yet. Two that I liked are gone, one other just finished a distant third. I just think that trying to suggest Barrack Obama is a Reagan Democrat is really reaching. All we’ve been doing lately is making fun of the Republicans for invoking RR about 217 times per debate. Now all of a sudden we start hearing about how much Barack Obama likes him. Sounds like all the Hussein/Closet Muslim/Not-Ready-For-Prime-Time mudslinging wasn’t working and someone is trying out something new.
