…Only this time, the wingnuts are very serious and respected wingnuts who also happen to be racists. Glenn Reynolds and Jonah Goldberg think there will be race riots if Senator Obama loses — they euphemistically call it a “social unraveling”. Greenwald has more.

    That’s what I mean about calling them out. I love Glenn Greenwald. That was a great fucking piece.And all Jonah Goldberg cares about is selling his book of newspeak.

    Nah nah nah –What they meant by social unraveling is that society’s behavior will change in subtle ways that can cause great damage down the road. Things like not turning in overdue library books, or giving up a seat to the elderly on the bus. Various road signs will be completely ignored. Customers will stop leaving a penny in that little cup at the 7Eleven.That has to be what they meant. There would be no race riots at all. We all know now that Barack Obama is a Muslim and there aren’t that many Muslims here.Trust me. It’ll be that penny thing.(I really hope everyone caught the sarcasm, subtle though it was…)
