I just spotted this headline on Drudge:

Bush hopes Cheney visit to Mideast will rein in prices…

Bush also hopes sending a fox to guard a chicken coop will result in more chickens. But the outrageous part is the notion that President Bush is interested in lower oil prices.

    Didn’t our Cowboy, Smoke ‘em Out, All Options on the Table, Liberty Bringin’ Commander in Chief just ask, pretty please with sugar on top, his good friends in Saudi Arabia to lower oil prices? And didn’t they respond in something like 14 minutes with a great big “No!” press conference?What a schmo.In other news, the only man between us and bombs falling on Iran just resigned. Perhaps Cheney is doing some awesome Dark Side recon while he’s reignin’ in the prices…

    When I first heard about this trip, they were touting the fact that he’s over there to promote peace. Cheney – peace Could there ever be a bigger oxymoron?

    I’m wondering…does anyone else think there’s a connection between Adm. Fallon’s resignation & Cheney’s trip to the Mideast? I mean, is the admin. getting ready to launch an attack on Iran and is gauging the attitudes of our so-called allies? (yes, Nano, your post planted the idea in my mind)
