Sleep Deprivation

Clinton said she was “sleep-deprived” and “misspoke” when she said last week that she landed under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia in 1996, when she was first lady.

This new excuse doesn’t fit with the 3AM phone call thing. If she lies when she’s sleep-deprived, what is she going to say on the phone in the middle of the goddamn night? I’m just sayin’.

    Awesome. She misspoke. Seeing as how this incident was part and parcel about how she’s the one that should answer the phone at 3 AM, now what metric should we use to judge her as Ready on Day One over “her opponent”? The Irish have called Bullshit on her statement that she negotiated the peace there, Sinbad and several pieces of video have put an end to that misspoken tale of her para trooping in to end the suffering of refugees in Bosnia, so what’s left?Oh yeah, now I remember. Nothing.

    Hillary reminds me of my couisin whom I love as much as anyone.The positive side of my couisin is that she’s good at getting shit done; is always there and supportive whenever the family needs to rally together; and she can tell a great story.The negative side of that is that she believes her own spin and it’s sometimes hard to know when she’s telling a story or telling the truth; there is also her Sybil-like personality – one minute she can be a raging bellicose bully, and the next, play the victim card.Hillary reminds me of her in a way.Lord help us if this woman becomes the President much less the Democratic nominee!

    Exactly — to both of you.She lied. That’s it. I would have had more respect for her if she just would’ve admitted to lying. But she’d never do that given that she’s running against Senator Obama based on her — ahem –”experience”.It should be clear to everyone that she knew what she was saying was a lie. It wasn’t once and it wasn’t a simple gaffe. She just never thought anyone would call her on it. And since she published it, she certainly had to reference it publically to appease those who had read her book and were saying, “Well why doesn’t she talk about how she had to dodge sniper fire in Bosnia?”Just what I want. Another lying sack of crap in the White House. They may as well slap a flightsuit on her (sans codpiece??) and parade her around the country.
