Obviously, we need another Surge. I’m sure there are some Boy Scout troops coming off of Jamboree. Somebody get them on the plane while I invoke the Stop Loss Order. The Cub Scouts should begin combat training, and the Weeblos should begin wetting their pants.

And what were they talking about on the news (Morning Joe) this morning? Oh, right – Jeremiah Wright’s anti-Israel & anti-Italian whatevers in the church bulletin…over and over from what I could tell, although I must admit that I don’t know whatall was involved because I don’t give a shit! And, according to the polls, neither do most other voters! But Iraq – Iraq is a matter of life & death to millions, so it gets ignored. Except to say that the escalation – er..surge – is working and the increased violence is proof of that and if we pull out, Iraq will descend into chaos, there will be fighting in the streets, and people will die.Oh, god! I am so sick of this war and people dying because of it! And this administration with its criminality and its arrogance! And the so-called mainstream media that can’t separate what’s truly important from total & complete bullshit!

Ya know, Vet75, Wes Clark is supporting Clinton. I like Clark a lot (I’d like to see him as Obama’s VP) but I haven’t seen anything out of him re: Clinton’s ducking sniper fire. I don’t know if he’s just been silent or if I haven’t been paying attention, but now I’m wondering.

It just seems to me that Clark and Rendell and Evan Bayh have been promised something in her administration…they don’t appear to be passionate about their support for her, while those have come forward to support Obama genuinely appear caught up in the fervor and hope that he inspires.
