Everyone in the Bush administration — except President Bush — discussed andauthorized torture against detainees. Senator McCain, meanwhile, voted against a law banning the CIA from using torture. And Senator McCain is neck-and-neck in the polls. America loves torture.

    Because, midad, they’re afraid of pissing off the Republicans and they don’t want to be accused of retaliating for Clinton’s impeachment ’cause they know that the Republicans will find an excuse to impeach the next Democratic president if they do so. Bottom line is that they love their jobs & their power more than they love the US and its Constitution.Bunch of pussies…
