So who is this dude named Mark Halperin? Well, I’ll tell you.
Mark Halperin is the douchebag who recommended that Senator McCain exploit Senator Obama’s unusual name and use it to paint Obama as a terrorist. Of course, no mention of that in this New York Times profile. But we get this awesome quote from Howard Wolfson:
“Four years ago, Mark defined the political zeitgeist and set the agenda with The Note,” Howard Wolfson, communications director for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign, said in an e-mail message. “Now he has done it all over again from scratch with The Page. It’s absolutely essential.”
Yes. It’s “essential” because of very serious advice like telling America that Senator Obama is a terrorist. Essential reading! Serious! For instance:
