It’s a simple syllogism: Marshall doesn’t like Clinton; Clinton is a woman; therefore, Marshall is a misogynist BECAUSE Clinton represents ALL women!(god, I hate my jobs…)

The only misogyny he accuses Josh of in his ridiculously nitpicky post is when Josh argues that Clinton followers are irrational in their support of a losing cause and are easily duped by Clinton.And somehow that makes it misogyny. The author’s mistake is that Josh never says all of the followers he is disparaging are women. He’s just disparaging irrational, hysterical people who are easily duped by ridiculous arguments about using “new math” to get to a Clinton win — and they should be disparaged.But the author cleverly transitions from quoting Josh’s “Hillary and her followers” to saying Josh means “unruly amazons.” It’s a smooth way to misquote someone and then smear them, if you like that sort of thing.
