Malignant Narcissism

Sullivan:

One request at least: can we retire from the dicourse the notion that there is anything even faintly admirable about the Clintons’ refusal to accept that they have lost the nomination. This isn’t tenacity or pluck or spunk. It’s vindictive, sore-loser narcissism. And someone senior in the party needs to call it like it is.

(By the way, Sullivan has experienced a major transformation since Katrina and I admire him for his intellectual honesty and ability to admit he was wrong. It’s a shame there aren’t more Republicans who are similarly humble about their mistakes.)

Andrew is one of the few conservatives I can stand to listen to for more than a few nanoseconds. He’s not strident and vindictive; he’s not filled with anger and hatred. He simply believes in different political principles than I do. He reminds me of a guy I used to work with. He and I disagreed on almost all things political, but we never got angry with each other about it. We merely had very thought-provoking conversations.

Love the headline, nice bow to one of my favorite bands, Rush.I agree that HRC’s tactics now are more about her credibility and what looks like a desperate attempt to stay relevant. Ironically, the longer she stays in, the less relevant she becomes. Going back to DC with her head held high, to finish out her Senate term and do some good for New York, would be a good way to stay relevant. Hell, I’d consider her for SCOTUS or the Obama cabinet, as in Secretary of State (but not VP).

Has he offered a sincere apology to those of us he deemed a “domestic fifth column” for our opposition to the Iraq war and whatnot? Because until he does, he can’t suck my dick.
