New Huffington Post Entry

I really hope this is the last Senator-Clinton-Is-Ruining-It-For-Everyone blog I have to write.

Dude, so spot on. It’s as if 18 months of Hillary megaloclintonia has culminated in a group intervention therapy session. Forget grace; that was never a part of the HRC equation. But decision making? Hello?? Slight irony re: what a *leader* is supposed to be all about? Her “This campaign has always been about you” comment is, ironically the opposite of what’s happening–it is, as you say, still all about *her* as it has been all along. But what concerns me is that Barack’s more European tendencies might lead to a VP offer (as in a parliamentary government, one way to win over all is to embrace your “former” enemies by giving them slots in your new administration). What’s ironic (not the strong suit of most ‘mericans), is that a) her supporters implied that Obama’s gracious praise of her was patronizing (that *man*!!) and b) she’s actually *acting* like a petulant/coy schoolgirl–not that strong, decisive female politician that so many of her supporters make her out to be. So much for the feminist-bashing MSM.(Deft use of huckleberry’s concession speech, btw.)

As always, really good Bob. A couple of Hillary bots signed on I saw, but pay no attention to them, they will eventually go away. Just like Hillary.

Ah, Bob. You’re such an optimist. Good luck with that hope thing. :)

The spectre of Vice President Hillary.com is fundamentally sickening for many reasons. The reason it MUST be and can rejected out-of-hand, though, is simple. If Obama accepts Hillary.com as the VP – no matter the reasoning – he will provide material evidence that he is an appeaser. There will be years to mend fences with the Clintons…but honestly, Obama needs to seize this moment – and stand on the head of the dragon.

It’s a shame that Mrs. Clinton hasn’t the capacity to be as gracious in defeat as Obama is magnanimous in victory.

Larry Beinhart wrote an interesting entry on HuffPost this evening re: old myths and new truths.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/larry-beinhart/old-myths-from-the-age-of_b_105256.htmlI'm hoping that we’re on the verge of an age of many more truths and many fewer myths from our government. (yeah, I know, good luck with the hope thing…)

I enjoy your comments immensely and her being all about her needed to be said. Her being all about her ruining the chances of any Democratic candidate who isn’t her is a real danger to Obama’s chances, too.A ray of hope is the news that the DNC is fully accepting Obamas fundraising rules now. He has the majority of the delegates and the authority to tell her to shove it. I am an outsider, being European and all that, but she gets my hackles up anytime. And I used to admire her.http://tpzoo.wordpress.com/2008/06/04/bye-bye-hillary-opinion/
