Judging by his baby’s-bottom, pinkish-hued complexion, do you really believe Senator Cornyn has spent more than three seconds in the sunlight — much less corralling horses in the blazing Texas heat? Hell, Cornyn makes McBush look like George Hamilton.

Meanwhile, “BIG JOHN” would have been eligible for the draft in 1970. He didn’t serve. Big Cowwwwaaard! Big Chickenhaaaawwwk!

    Hmmm, I’d like to see him stay in the saddle at a full gallop, or ride bareback — then I’d believe he was a cowboy (I speak from experience, guys.)A little info about this contest in Texas: Cornyn is running against a Dem named Rick Noriega, an Army Nat’l guardsman who HAS served in Afghanistan and is just finishing up a mandatory 2-week stint of AT (Annual Training) for the Guard. He has the backing of IAVA, VoteVets, Senators Jim Webb and Jon Tester.Rick is keeping Cornyn’s feet to the fire re: our troops because guess what — aww, I bet you can guess but I’ll tell ya anyway — Corny was one of the 22 senators who didn’t vote for the new G.I. Bill!I am so tired of the way our vets have been abused and neglected by this government, so I give whatever I can, when I can to help out. I’m supporting Rick even though I don’t live in Texas, because I believe our veterans running for public office (McCain being an exception, of course) are a terrific, experienced group who can sort through the morass of bush’s failed occupation and worse, GW’s failure to tend to those who have returned and need our help.There is so much in the world to dishearten us, yet moments exist, last night in Detroit comes to mind, where we see a glimmer of hope. I’m not giving up, nope, no way.
