Pisspronunciations

Chris Matthews is obsessed lately with how “exotic and foreign” Senator Obama is, thus reinforcing the fears of the doofus hillbilly vote. And so for the second show in a row, Matthews mixed up the names. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s deliberate — but it’s really, really unprofessional.

    I know, something is up with him. Last week, much to my wondrous surprise, Amy Goodman (Democracy Now host) was a guest pundit… don’t know if she was ever on before, but he came across kinda rude to her. Just an observation.

    It’s deliberate, plain and simple. Nobody I knows messes up names like that. Barack Obama. Osama bin Laden. There’s no similarity there.
