The McBush Town Hall Meetings

Shorter McBush on this Obama/McBush town hall meeting idea:

“I drink your milkshake, my friend. I drink it up!”

Milkshake = large, enthusiastic audiences.

VIDEO UPDATE: For those of you going, “Uh…milkshake? Whah?” I give you the now legendary final scene from Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood:

    I noted in his little pro wrestling promo he made a point of saying “no reporters asking questions”.For a guy who allegedly broke out of a VC prison camp using a pen knife and pure gumption, dude sure is acting shook.

    allow me to go out on a limb…Obama is going to win in a landslide.I am sorry if that sounds cocky, or as a liberal I am supposed to take the high road, and after the last two presidential elections, I should be afraid of voter fraud (which I am)I just cannot see how, over the next 6 months Abe Simpson, I mean John McCain is going to compete with Barack. Financially, Emotionally, Energy wise, I almost felt, watching McCain’s speech the other night, that he already knows it’s over, and is just going through the motions.

    No reporters is just fine. Better that they save their inept and meaningless questions about flag pins and gas tax holidays for the Sunday shows. Obama will be able to handle McBush just fine. In fact, I’m willing to bet he will have to hold back or risk looking like he’s beating up on an old guy. McBush has already hung himself these past few months getting almost every statement about Iraq/Iran/Forgotistan wrong more than a few times. Obama is going to put an awful hurt on McBush.

    To Terry4505:I’m saying the same things over on my blog. I know it’s bad karma to be cocky but I just can’t see this any other way.

    I saw that story Packy. I’m surprised it’s not getting more traction. The past few days’ headlines have been dominated by Obama’s win and HRC’s endless campaign to win in 2012 so I think it’s being overlooked.I used to say that after all is said and done, we’ll never ever truly know what the reason for going into Iraq was. It certainly wasn’t about spreading freedom and democracy, and it sure as hell wasn’t about removing a dictator. I think this is it though. They wanted to create a free market paradise where corporations rule and our armed forces are allowed to roam free and answerable to no one.You think that’s what they have planned for us?

    Nano -I think that it all fits together with the Project for A New American Century (PNAC) goals.At my age, nothing much surprises me anymore, except the willingness of Americans to allow their elected officials to run amok.
