Take a good look at this photograph of the Bush family mansion in Kennebunkport today…

…and think about the sheer volume of Americans who still believe that George W. Bush is just like them. And then think about the sheer volume of very serious corporate media goons who helped to spread that hoax.

    I’m the third generation scion of a wealthy family who, though not actually very smart, was handed every opportunity multiple times even though I consistently failed (and often crashed various motor vehicles in the process) and my failures have filled me with a pitiful psychological need not to live in my father’s shadow and also my driving records have been sealed, and I’ve never felt that Bush is just like me…Funny that.

    All these years later, I’m still trying to figure out why Bush is the “guy you want to have a beer with.” Who wants to have a beer with someone who supposedly doesn’t drink?
