At a fundraiser today Senator McCain revealed that Senator Obama would be in Iraq this weekend — which, of course, is a major breach in security. Josh Marshall quotes a security insider who says:
If it is true that Obama is going to Iraq this weekend, it is a very serious mistake for McCain to have disclosed it publically.[...] If Obama is going to Iraq this weekend, I can not begin to imagine how much this is complicating the security planning for the trip.
This is precisely the behavior of someone who has no practical sense of judgment. Jokes about rape and killing civilians today… security breaches tomorrow. This crazy person shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the nuclear launch codes.
