Her facial reconstructive surgery having failed horribly (the technique, known as de-Desmondification, is still in its trial phases), Laura Bush is doing what she can to get back into the public eye with the unfortunate Insanely Grinning Face she was given. I for one am pleased to see her branching out from her tireless role as Literacy Person* and getting into films, and I look forward to her performance as The Joker immensely.* As of this writing, the First Lady’s efforts have taught over a dozen “disfortunate” childrens — and by Bush standards this means, of course, those unable to pay their nannies in tightly-bound bricks of cash but by writing “cheques” drafted against an offshore trust fund, the poor dears — how to read a Hedge Fund Enrollment application and a standard subpoena.
