Comments are on strike over there..Last evening, Buchanan, in a discussion on David Gregory’s show about the Ludacris song, said that the song was significant because “frankly, it’s from his own folks”….who are, obviously, not us.

Great post Bob.Id also like to say that, living in a media capitol,I’ve picked up alot of information about the “Media” and I know this, most right leaning barbeque media bias can be traced back to the news director. Any denial of complicity by these people, on the war, McCain, torture, or anything else should be viewed as pure horseshit.

I agreed with every word you said.My one thought, which being an outsider I can’t validate, is that there are two reasons Republican framing works so well for the media:1. They are ratings-starved incompetents who lust after the gossip that Republicans happily provide for them.2. Republicans attack and Democrats don’t really. This has two effects in that it both drives the media into a blood-thirsty feeding frenzy and makes Democrats look weak just for being attacked (which explains why people think Republicans are better at nat’l security).In the end, it puts the media into their happy “analysis” place rather than in their more challenging fact-finding/policy-wonking place. Much easier and less resource-intensive for them.
