Talk Radio Is An Unfair Bastard

Sheesh. Air America’s “Lionel” is terrible…

And Sam Seder was fired? There is no justice.

Also note CNN’s mention of “presumptuous”.

He was awful, but it sounded like he was trying to be sarcastic and has no effing skill at it.Sam Seder would have KICKED ASS.

What? With a voice and demeanor like that, this guy is on the radio?

I listen to AA progams on XM and could never take him for one minute. He is the worst!I could not even watch this video past 5 seconds. There is NO way to understand how he can make a living in broadcasting anywhere.Lately Stephanie Miller is on XM (AA) instead of him in the morning. Lots of people must not be able to tolerate him.

Yeah, he was on in New York (the supposed flagship station) but I guess his ratings sucked because he was replaced by… NOTHING! That’s right, Air America Radio’s flagship station in New York doesn’t begin its programming til noon! It’s some local jibberjabber til then.

We also used to have Thom Hartmann on from 3-6pm and they decided to bump him for ED SCHULTZ!

The powers that be at AAR have no fucking clue.

CORRECTION: AAR’s New York programming – Ed Schultz relpaced Thom Hartmann in the 12-3pm slot. The 3-6pm slot is now occupied by a show called “Doing Time” with Ron Kuby. That was who AAR decided to use after weeks of guests hosts as an “audition” when, in their infinite wisdom, they canned Randi Rhodes. “Auditioners” included Roseanne Barr, Richard Belzer, and other horrrible guests. Sam Seder did fill in for a bit but you knew he wouldn’t be the replacement if they fired him from his normal slot to begin with. I suppose just like the Democratic Party, they’re afraid of being seen as too liberal.

At least the name “Doing Time” is apropos because it feels like you’re incarcerated when listening to that awful show. I’m still right about AAR’s management though – it sucks.
