Despite the rotting economy, Exxon-Mobil posted its largest profit margin ever. $11.6 billion.

And McCain wants to give them a free pass to drill more. What a sad little man.

    The funny thing about this news, Bob, is what Reuters had to say in its market rollup today after the Dow lost nearly 2%”NEW YORK, July 31 (Reuters) – U.S. stocks fell on Thursday, led by Exxon Mobil after its earnings fell short of Wall Street’s expectations and as disappointing….”I wonder what exactly the fuck Wall Street was expecting of Exxon-Mobil.

    Yeh… the highest quarterly earnings IN HISTORY by a US corporation and Exxon-Mobil found it “disappointing” and “below expectations.”Of course, they’re pretty cheerful and upbeat about managing to (with the help of the SCOTUS) fuck over a shitload of Alaskans.Ratfuckers.
