Better than they’re saying. If that’s even possible. Easily the best superhero movie, but calling it a superhero movie is almost an insult.

And Ledger… Sublime. Not too many actors have successfully topped Nicholson, but Ledger made Nicholson’s Joker look like Cesar Romero’s Joker.

    The “pencil” line was great…But the way Ledger said, “yeah,” when the gangster asked “Does this clown think he can rob us?” was legendary.I haven’t laughed that hard in weeks.

    This movie was so intense I needed a nap when it was over. Didn’t get one though – had to watch the (totally awesome) conclusion to the Avatar series shortly thereafter. On my way to bed soon…QT

    I saw the midnight opening Thursday night and it took everything I had not to go again last night. I can’t remember as character as intense as Ledger played. It was truly amazing.

    I can’t remember a movie that sold out every theater it was playing in new york city, had to see it in brooklyn. One movie that actually lived up to the hype…i’m looking at you Indy and the batpod was so freakin awesome…damn!

    In my opinion Cesar Romero was a perfectly acceptable joker.

    Romero didn’t even shave his mustache for the role. And so… FAIL! I preferred Meredith and Gorshin on the old TV series.
