‘Get To Work!’

Senator McBush at the Sturgis motorcycle rally (warning – FOX News link):

“Well I am telling you right now we are sending 700 billion dollars (abroad) and your Congress just went on vacation for five weeks. Tell them to come back and get to work.”

He was yelling “tell them to come back and get to work” over and over in that shrill whistling voice of his.

Perhaps it’s another senior moment, but he probably forgot that he’s recently missed votes on Medicare, the GI Bill, economic stimulus, immigration — and on and on.

Oh, and screw everybody! McBush doesn’t work weekends!

I wonder if he yelled at President Bush for this.

The whistling is from badly fitting dentures- I’ve seen it many other times. You’d think with all Cindy’s cash he’d get a dentist to fix them up.At least he wasn’t wearing a leather vest with no shirt under…..

I watched CNN’s video. It included his incoherence. He does not seem to realize he is talking jibberish at times. It would be pathetic except he is ACTUALLY running for President. I am afraid he makes Bush seem eloquent.http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2008/08/05/nats.mccain.sturgis.cnn?iref=videosearch

Bob, I have found an cold comfort in the link to Bush’s vacation record. Had George not taken 411 days of vacation in Crawford during his reign, the planet and this country would be approximately 15% more fugged-up.

Great information. Also if you live closer to work you could get a little more exspensive home or farther from work with a less exspencive home and would be paying the same payment for either one depending on your commute.
