Malloy

I had a chance to listen to Mike Malloy on Sirius last night and he was suggesting that we allow Senator McCain to win so we can work to build a progressive Democratic Party, kick out the DINOs and elect a truly progressive Democrat in 2012. Then, regarding a McCain presidency, he repeated, “How bad can it be? How bad can it be? Martial law? Insurrection?”

Eight years ago when the Bushies were handed the presidency by the Supreme Court, I remember many liberals — myself included, sad to say — asking, “How bad can it be?”

The destruction of our economy and country would continue unabated. Hell, it would probably accelerate.

Oh, why not. Let’s vote in McCain. My daughter has strep throat – I’ll just stop giving her medicine now and wait a few weeks. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen?I noticed the bridge in Missouri was crumbling. Eh – it’ll hold out another 4 years and then we can afford a completely new one – nobody will mind if it breaks during rush our.I’ll stop now. As Obama said, let’s not sacrifice the good for the possibility of the perfect. We’ll get good now, and then work on better.

The Rethuglicans DO NOT get a “do over” with Mccain. No way. They need to take the next 8 years and clean up THEIR act.

I’ve listend to Mike Malloy, and even though I’ve agreed with him on some things, I’ve also witnessed his temper on the air (somtimes at his on listeners) and believe the guy is a definitely unstable. This doesnt suprise me at all.

I haven’t heard the segment yet, but I’m sure it was sarcasm. I think the “martial law” and “insurrection” lines put it over the top.
