    When people watch these videos they think, “Wow, aside from the sexism (and racism, which is not shown) the ’50s ware a much easier and more innocent time.”Bullshit, folks. These videos were laughed at even at the time.

    Ah, MST3K. I just preordered the 20th Anniversary boxed set (primarily for the Crow figure). I’m really dismayed that Mike Nelson’s new project Rifftrax had right wing extremist James Lilekson as a co-riffer (many have said that Lileks is a moderate – but seriously; no one who advocates torture is anything but an extremist). Ech.
