    I’d give them the vote – but only after they allow votes on all of the other energy policies they’ve blocked before the vacation.That’s my #1 annoyance. Dems should be shouting that part – that you don’t get to bitch about not holding your special drilling vote when you blocked voting on every. Other. Issue. Don’t like it? Then don’t pull this shit.

    John, that’s all the Republican’s have these days. They’re playing politics for the sake of partisanship, and they’ve gotten so good at media manipulation that they can convince a segment of the population that it’s all the Democrat’s fault.

    I’m not surprised. Completely unable to mount a cogent argument for why we should not drill offshore (an argument any one of us could have easily articulated for them), our Democratic leadership is once again preparing to get humiliated by an ineffective and lame duck President. In an election year.Again. Not. Surprised.
