It occurred to me that in Senator McCain’s “Celebrity” ad, the camera flashes are accompanied by the sound of exploding flashbulbs. When was the last time any photographer used a goddamn flashbulb?

    Hahaha, good point. But McBush is so old and out of touch that he probably does think cameras still use flashbulbs.

    They’re subliminal explosions. Watch it in slow motion – the flashes in the crowd (which grow fairly large at times) are designed to appear as bombs going off in the crowd and deliver the message that voting for Obama would be dangerous & make us less safe. I wouldn’t be surprised if Alex Castellanos had some “advisory” role in creating the ad.
