Whoever replaced Joe Scarborough with women’s soccer made me smile.

That smile turned to anger, of course, when I turned to CNN only to see Glenn Beck talking about how my favorite superhero movie of all time is just like George W. Bush. But I’m sure they’ll reserve a segment for Randi Rhodes this morning, right? …No?

    Thanks! I thought it was a bad dream, but now I know I saw the same thing. I also loved how Beck was saying he has been so hard on Bush and against the Iraq war.Also – isn’t it funny how the Republicans, who always blast Hollywood, are so quick to figure out hidden messages in films? They must spend a lot more time watching and analyzing them than we do.

    Batman is like George Bush? I don’t know, Bob. I’m not sure I want to see a movie where Batman vacations 1/3 of the time while the Joker attacks Gotham.Batman puts his own life on the line and fights hard to defeat the bad guys. George Bush has never done either. Ever.Batman spends his own money trying to kill the bad guys and occassionally succeeds. George Bush spends everyone else’s money and has never accomplished anything. Ever.Yeah. Their just alike, if you’re the kind of guy whose wiener gets happy when you mindlessly worship a blithering idiot…

    Wow…I hope this doesn’t become a bandwagon. I already read an Wall Street Journal editorial on this same subject and now Glen Cock- I mean Beck. (You’re right Bob, easy mistake to make.) I think it was something about how both Batman and W make unpopular decisions and wear codpieces?
