Why George Lucas Sucks

Four words:

“negotiations over trade routes”

That, and the creepy blank expressions on the ugly CG characters.

And I consider myself a Star Wars fan.

    I was such a cool sister. I was one of the ones that saw SW in the theatre about 100 bazillion times. I loved it so much I sent away to preorder the COMPLETE SW action figure set for my lil bro who is about your age. May I add, complete with Darth Vader carrying case? Bastard trashed them.Clone Wars got horrid reviews- I remember one of them saying something to the effect that Lucas was punishing viewers for something. heh

    Watching the trailers on TV, it doesn’t even look like a good cartoon.I’d already decided to pass.

    I have no ambition to see this after watching the trailers. Being a CG freak, and doing my own CG stuff, it really looks like they skimped on it (especially the rendering). It could be Lucas is trying to define his own CG style, but I doubt it. I wonder if they didn’t just want to rush and get it out, meaning they cut back on the final render.

    He should’ve just hired Genndy Tartakovsky and done the whole thing in 2D. The CLONE WARS shorts for CN were breathtaking.
