DailyKos/Research 2000 tracking poll today:

Obama 50, McCain 42, MOE +/- 5

And from the internals, the only area McMemoryloss is winning is the SOUTH. Northeast, Midwest and West all go quite handily to Obama.

McSenile has now gone into the more hated than loved terrain also occupied by his falling-like-a-rock number 2:

McCain Fav: 44, Unfav: 45
Palin Fav: 40, Unfav: 47

And for comparison:

Biden Fav: 47, Unfav: 34

And the man at the top:

Obama Fav: 57, Unfav: 36

UPDATE: DailyKos just pays for the tracking poll. The polling is done by an independent, non-partisan firm, Research 2000. This is from their site:

Some of our most active media clientele include the Bergen Record, The Raleigh News & Observer, The Concord Monitor, The Manchester Journal Inquirer, The New London Day, The Reno-Gazette, The Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, The Spokesman-Review, KCCI-Television in Des Moines, Iowa, WRAL-Television in Raleigh, North Carolina, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and KMOV-Television in St. Louis, Missouri.

Our Polls can be seen on CNN’S “Inside Politics” and are also mentioned frequently in the National Journal’s “Political Hotline”, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Wall Street Journal.

I’m pretty sure Markos, who is a keen observer of successful pollsters, picked them not because they poll friendly to Dems, but because their polls are usually close to correct.

Delighted to see this, but still a bit hazy on how accurate Kos is on the polling front.I’ve been looking at Pollster and I don’t like what I’m seeing…

Thanks to Oliver for finding this pic. If there are any Obama-connected types out there, this pic needs to become the image used anytime we hear Obama say “I approve this message”.
