All pretty and no ability. Remember that these are the guys that almost always fail upward. Like a fucking rocket they fail upward.What’s more scary is that she believes she’s up to this. Just like W, she probably believes she’s been called to this by God (not Thor. He’d never make such a mistake). Which begs the question, who is going to be pulling her strings? Who’s going to be controlling her behind the scenes?

We need to pound the fact that they’re shielding her from the media and inquisitive reporters. I’m guessing it won’t take long for the MSM to get antsy about not having any new Palin footage in a couple of days and they’ll jump on the “Where’s Sarah?” bandwagon. They need their Palin fix and if they don’t get it soon, it’ll be like a junkie stealing his grandmother’s television to sell it for a hit.

Exactly, Broadway. We know what will happen, though. They’ll be denied access to her for a week or so then learn their lesson and promise to play nice. They’ll only ask questions like “Tell us about being Governor of the largest state in the country. What’s that like?” McCain’s campaign will hold back on the Sarah and Stretch & Co. will quickly start to behave. As we speak, they are polishing off their softball questions.She’s got in her past ALL the things that were considered Huge Scandals for Barack Obama (Crazy Preachers, radicals), yet she’s already getting a complete pass.

Agree with all of the above – but the media wants fresh meat, and they’re all ready ticked off after the McCain Camp’s “Don’t be mean the little lady” approach. I don’t think they’ll let up…Intense foreign policy prep is going to be interesting. I don’t think a month of cramming is going to top Biden’s many years of experience.

Re: “handmade” signs – I called bullshit on that during Palin’s speech. It was really obvious that all the signs had the same handwriting, most had the same slogan “Hockey Moms 4 Palin” and in the same colors and size! And the picture of the “Mavrick” (sic) sign above was done by the same illiterate! Are they outsourcing handmade signs to Bangladesh now too?Eff ‘em all – they’re dumbasses.
