I totally love Jack. Even my kids (4 and 2) say “Jack! Jack!” when he comes on. I swear, if they’d dump Wolf “right name at the right time” Blitzer and give Jack the Situation Room, I might consider leaving the volume up.I think Jack has lost the ability to take any more crap.

And as always, Wolf “Milquetoast” Blitzer mealy-mouthing his way through a tepid response that begs the world not to hate him or hurt him for having any sort of human reaction to sheer buffoonery. Every prominent American citizen with a platform from which to Speak Truth not to Power but to The People should make it his or her patriotic duty to denounce this woman for what she is: A fraud, a charlatan, a Hockey Mom that is also Governor. No true patriot could support this woman’s nomination after seeing the Katie Couric interview, and frankly shame on Couric for not using her pulpit to cut Palin to shreds.Watch that clip again. Listen to Palin rattle off — almost sequentially, almost as if from a checklist — the GOP Talking Points: Lower taxes; job creation; free trade; lower spending; bam-bam-bam-bam, quack-quack-quack-quack. She is nothing but a Talking Point Memo made animate by some Frankensteinian lightning and a serious dose of Faustian witchcraft. She is a threat to national security and anyone that supports this ticket is a traitor.

I’ve watched this segment of the interview 4 or 5 times now. The first few, I just laughed (slightly hysterically) but….it’s so obvious that she doesn’t know what the bailout entails. It’s not just that she’s spouting talking points, she didn’t have a clue what Couric was referring to in the question.How is it possible for her to not have heard anything about this??

And why did Wolf Blitzer feel the need to try to cover for her performance at the end of the segment?
