Hey, Gov. Palin is kinda cool with us at war with Russia. It might be time to cash in that vacation time everyone.Actually, the discussion of the electoral map is putting me in a better mood. Also, Alan Abramowitz, who I am not too familiar with but my dad assures me is always freakishly right about these kinds of things, predicts Sen. Obama will win.All in all, I’m going into primetime with some level of optimism.

I just turned on the tv as they were talking about the electoral map…what did they say? The one I looked at today made me feel awful.

Essentially that Sen. Obama’s got it. The essential swing states are in his favor – including a 5 point lead in Ohio. Obviously, we’ve got some time, but the national polls shouldn’t be freaking out the Dems.

McCain says (sorta) Flight 93 passengers “grasped the gravity of the situation” but it comes out “grav-the grabbity” or something. Quabbity control? gasped the gavity? I am too easily amused.

It sounds like blackmail when McCain says the reason the the campaign has taken this in-the-gutter tone is because Obama didnt agree to do the town hall meetings.

He didn’t agree to debates on my terms on my time and I would’ve gotten to fly in his fancy plane, so I’m just gonna trash him. Fucker.

I’m so glad he’s standing up for community organizers. This needs to be addressed. What she did was really despicable.

@ Jane – I didn’t see Ferguson until this morning on The YouTubes. It was amazing because he speaks so plainly and shows the absurdity of it all. Great United States citizen.

He really is awesome. I’m not saying that as a blind follower. I can’t remember when a politician just got it and spoke the way Obama does, in my lifetime anyway. I was 3 years late for Kennedy.

He inspires me like no one has ever been able to before. At least no one in my lifetime. I’ve always been envious of past generations who had the great inspirational leaders I could only read about. I’m truly thankful for Senator Obama.

I wasn’t trying to copy you, Carl, I swear. I hadn’t even read yours yet. It’s just so true, though.

Well, in all honesty the Obama campaign has gone negative on occasion. The difference is that Obama’s negative ads are based in truth, while McCain’s are all smears and distortions.

Of COURSE I support community service and Obama’s work there! (That shoulda been an applause line.)
