You know what I really like about these two? They’re serious. This election isn’t a freaking beauty pageant for them. It’s not a naked cynical play for identity politics to rule over sound policy.Has anyone noticed that Senator Obama never makes an issue out of being a black man, but a staple of Palin’s stump speech is the fact that she’s a woman?I’m convinced that Barack Obama wants to be president because there are specific problems in this country he wants to address. McCain wants to be president because he wants to be president.
