Noun. Verb. Massive Lie.

Rick Davis was taking money from Freddie Mac as recently as last month:

One of the giant mortgage companies at the heart of the credit crisis paid $15,000 a month from the end of 2005 through last month to a firm owned by Senator John McCain’s campaign manager [Rick Davis], according to two people with direct knowledge of the arrangement.

And, naturally, Senator McCain has repeatedly lied about it:

The disclosure undercuts a statement by Mr. McCain on Sunday night that the campaign manager, Rick Davis, had had no involvement with the company for the last several years.

Has there seriously been a news cycle in which Senator McCain hasn’t lied about something? That’s not Straight Talk we can believe in, my friends.

No big surprise — Morning Joe to the rescue of McCain — reading the latest McCain statement denying everything — including stating Rick Davis NEVER lobbied for Fannie and Freddie. Of course, AM Joe pushed no further than reading the McCain statement. And further, of course, AM Joe failed to mention Davis’ firm was receiving the payments up to last month. Scarborough spent much more time mocking Mika and and mocking John Ridley and his fingernails. Opening MSNBC’s 9:00 am hour, Chuck Todd addressed the Rick Davis issue by, of course, stating this was Obama’s answer to his ties to Johnson and Raines at Fannie and Freddie. And one final Morning Joe thought — Andrea Mitchell (Mrs. Alan Greenspan) appeared to state re: the bailout, that McCain has been speaking up all along about the upcoming “crisis” while Obama has done nothing. Why is Mitchell even allowed to be reporting these days? Since she IS Mrs. Alan Greenspan, isn’t this a conflict of interest as far as her supposed “unbiased” reporting?A continuum of the noun, verb, massive lie. Great title, Bob!

Fuck Rick Davis up his filthy lying lobbyhole. He needs to be the new face of the campaign, the constant still-photo splashed on every Obama ad against McCain, and for one reason: He looks like the ratfuck shitweasel that he is. Americans — stupid, stupid Americans — respond visually, they have a visceral, “gut” reaction to simple imagery. Show an American a slice of apple pie and they’ll clap and salivate and possibly do a small dance in their Barkalounger. Show the average American a picture of Rick Davis’s pinched-in, rat-fuck, weasel-like toadface — maybe lay in some thunder, a werewolf call in the background, ‘Shop a lizard tongue coming out of his mouth — and you’ve got the Darth Vader to McCain’s old, old Emperor Palpatine. Americans won’t vote for ugly. Rick Davis is as ugly on the outside as he is in his charcoal briquette of a heart, and we should immediately capitalize on his obvious lizardness.

Have you ever considered writing poetry Elvis? Or perhaps dark comedys.

Despite the handle, trust me on this. Independent = low information voter in some cases.
