Have you seen Obama’s new two minute long ad (TWO MINUTES?!?!?! TWO?!?! TWO MINUTES?!? As in 10 times longer than a 20 second soundbyte?!?!?)?

Millionaires like Joe Richborough can cackle all they want about how Obama doesn’t get it.

But I’m not a millionaire. I’m barely a thousandaire at this point. My economic life is, in fact, kind of like…this:

Paychecks are flat and home values are falling. It’s hard to pay for gas and groceries and if you put it on a credit card they’ve probably raised your rates. You’re paying more than ever for health insurance that covers less and less.

I don’t need a soundbyte, I need a solution.

And I’m more than happy to take two minutes to listen to Senator Obama’s ideas about solutions.

What I don’t want to take two minutes to do is listen to the blow-dried, yapping, millionaire mug of Joe Scarborough and his ilk.

    Maybe Im just plain stupid, but can someone please explain to me how on earth the repugs can be so damned arrogant? How can they have the AUDACITY to put Obama and the Dems down when everything they (the repugs) have touched for the last 8 years has turned to shit? I find their holier-than-thou attitude revolting! If my party was responsible for the mess this country is in now, I’d be running for the hills with my tail between my legs. I just dont get it.

    cminri, you’re not alone there.This is a good ad, and will no doubt get a lot of free airplay as the MSM dissects it. Let’s just hope enough Americans have the attention span to be able to listen to 120 seconds without their minds wandering…

    Threadjack/This is a little off topic, but I just started a facebook group called “It’s the issues, stupid.” I’m using it to inform people of what’s really going on. It’s not a pro-Obama group (although all of the issues are going to end up being pro-Obama), but I’d appreciate everyone’s help in spreading the truth about this election and not the ridiculous BS that the MSM wants to talk about.So if you have a facebook account, please join and help me to reach more people with the true issues of the campaign.     will no doubt get a lot of free airplay as the MSM dissects itYou’d think that…but… I saw a small part of it on Scarborough this morning & Joe started talking about it while it was playing – talking over it, criticizing it, etc. I can’t recall an instance of one of the pundits talking over a McCain ad – cutting it short to dissect it, yes, talking loud enough so the ad can’t be heard? no.

    Gallup have Obama back up by two points. Give it another couple of days, and I suspect he’ll crack the 50 point mark again.
