As happy as I am to see Obama at 50%, I still can’t believe that 45% of the people still support McCain. WTF??

Is he going to show up to this debate? This is ridiculous that we still don’t know. Is this how a “maverick” acts? Is this what the American people want? Haven’t they learned their lesson from GWB yet? I just can’t believe this shit.

Has anyone received the email about the Palin PBS poll? Here are the results as of 1 minute agoDo you think Sarah Palin is qualified to serve as Vice President of the United States?Yes 49%No 49%Not Sure 0%Almost 50% of the people polled agree that Palin would be qualifiedSo I don’t think its shocking that McCain is at 45% when Palin is at 49%though there is no stopping anyone for voting multiple times so it’s not an accurate poll but still….

From another blog-If you’ve ever played the Quiet Game with kids, you’ve seen this move before. The kids agree that the first one who speaks is out of the game. But about 15 seconds into it, inevitably, one of the children will yell, “Time out!” say whatever he or she had to say, and then say, “Okay, time in!” In their world, they can make up their own rules, whether they make sense or not. Their only agenda is to make the rules benefit their situation.Today, Senator John McCain announced that he’s suspending his campaign and planning not to attend the highly anticipated presidential debates Friday night. In other words, in the middle of a game, he’s making up rules and calling “Time out” until he can get into a situation that’s more beneficial to him. The only thing is this isn’t a game. This is one of the most important presidential elections in history.Nevermind the fact that the first black president may be elected in November; how about the simple fact that this country needs a strong, competent leader immediately? It’s in the worse shape that most Americans have ever lived to see. This is the time that we desperately need to hear from both candidates so that all these people who claim to be undecided can finally figure out who is the most qualified to begin to turn this country around. To be honest, I think most of the people who say they haven’t decided who they’ll vote for are lying. I also think that very few people who really haven’t decided will vote for McCain no matter what they hear, or thanks to McCain, won’t hear in the debate on Friday night. What kind of man who has aspirations of becoming president could have the nerve to cancel a debate two days before it’s scheduled to take place? He claims, of course, he’s doing it so that he can work on a bipartisan solution to the economic mess the nation is facing. What about the economic mess he’s causing for the television and radio networks who will lose who knows how much if the debates don’t go on? What about all the money that will be lost when he pulls all of his campaign ads? What about the economic mess that the people of Oxford, Mississippi will face if the debate is cancelled? They’ve been working on this for seven months. The campus has made major renovations in order to host the historic debate that has cost them $4 million. Thousands of people are en route there; what about their economic situations? What about the businesses who had spent money and planned to make money from the thousands of people who are coming to Oxford?Maybe by the time you read this blog, McCain will have come to his senses and decide to man up and participate in the presidential debate. But if he doesn’t, I hope the “undecided” voters and those who support McCain will be able to see something they may not have seen before in this candidate. No one can take away the bravery he showed in the Vietnam War as a P.O.W., but if he refuses to face Barack Obama on Friday night, that’s a chicken shiggity move.

Ok, so I was just listening to Stephanie Miller, and she played a clip of O’Reilly’s radio show in which he says that if Sen. Dodd and Rep. Frank were in the room right now, he’d hit them. Can we arrest him now, for threatening a government official?
So when Obama calls McCain out tonight for that statement on O’Reilly’s show, I’m sure we’ll here “oh, Barack, you know that was just hyperbole. I didn’t mean it! Jeesh, relax would ya?”And then Barack will say:”I’m glad to hear you say that, John, you doddering old sycophantic power obsessed inept irrational delusional argumentative belligerent lying gas bag.”

I believe the PBS poll is something on their website where you can click it if you want – hardly scientific.

McCain’s “plan” (stunt, scam, etc.):1- “Suspend” campaign, but not really. Claim going right to Washington to “help”.2- Wait it out, continue to campaign until it’s announced that a deal is in place.3- Rush to Washington, muddy up the negotiations that are nearly complete. Deal falls apart.4- Wait for the morning. The deal starts to get back on track because sane people start to ignore him.5- Announces talks moving forward, can do the debate now. Let people judge if he helped come to the resolution. Claim victory. What an ass hat.

I was just watching MSNBC and one of the guys there (don’t know his name) said McCain went to one meeting in Washington about the economy and he just sat there for 45 minutes like a potted plant! LOL.Yah, if there is some kind of agreement is going to try to take credit for it. Ass hat is right.
