Race-baiting All Over The Damn Place

While I agree with Josh about the subtle race-baiting in the McCain sexual predator ad, Sarah Palin’s race-baiting community organizer “actual responsibilities” remark is even more obvious. (Repeating what I blogged about a couple of days ago, it hinted at the “blacks are lazy and shiftless” stereotype.)

I feel like that one has been allowed to slide even though it’s not the last time we’ll hear it.

and again, it comes down to how the BBQ media frames the race. Bill Clinton (who by any account, is NOT a racist)was labeled as a race baiter by our BBQ media with his famous Jesse Jackson comment. He was inartfully stating a fact–the BBQers labeled him a “race baiter in South Carolina” and the label stuck (you still hear it almost every day). Then the BBQers assigned the labeling to the Obama campaign and that stuck too. It’s all in the framing–they could easily label this as race baiting, but they won’t do it to St. McCain.Crazy, I have CNN in the background and they’re still on the Lipstick thing–unreal. I echo what someone else said, I almost want McCain to win now–not really–but I am so upset and outraged that maybe this is what the people in our country and our complicit BBQ media deserve. Then again, how great would an Obama landslide be? A big F-U to the politics and media of the past 8 years…I am going crazy…LOL

It gets worse. McCain AND the US Embassy are bitching about Gordon Brown’s endorsement of Obama. I’m going to start drinking now.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/uselection2008/johnmccain/2777809/John-McCain-hits-back-at-Gordon-Browns-praise-of-Barack-Obama.html

About a week ago (or maybe yesterday, I have no clue, my head is so fucked right now) Leslie Sanchez said, out of the blue, that she thought Obama looked ‘angry’ while giving his DNC speech. Maybe I’m stretching things, but doesn’t that play into the, ‘the angry black man’ line of thinking?I’m I losing it and just looking for things now, or was my thinking justified?

Yes, Paul, it does. Who in the hell wouldn’t be angry after being painted as a child molester by McCain & Co., though?BTW, I’m not sure which embassy got involved in the article up there on my previous comment.

Keep in mind… jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor.
