Thats pretty amazing.I really dont buy the tightening race bullcrap. Obama is going to win every Kerry state AND virginia and probably north carolina maybe missouri and probably a few others… I mean its just not possible for McCain to win.McCain may be going up nationally, but how much of that “nationally” is in states that dont really matter much at this point?

What a beautiful sight! Beutiful, and inspiring.

people all the way back to the Dred Scott Courthouse.

Quite a sight…especially considering the fact that the McCain campaign routinely inflates it’s numbers and gets called out by the local fire marshal for doing so.

They can spin this anyway they want…still looks like 100,000 people in a red state coming out to barely hear and see Obama, and there’s just no way to knock it.Also Obama looks tiny…
I find myself just staring at this in awe. It’s such a powerful photograph. This isn’t a photoshop hollywood throng…there’s not football game after this…it’s 100,000 people finding there way to stand for change. That’s more than were at Mile High Stadium, and at least 4x more than the McClan ever had even their most exaggerated rally.Maybe…just maybe. Don’t let up!

I don’t write comments here very often, but I read this blog every day. I was in this wonderful awe-inspiring diverse crowd today. I’ve lived in St. Louis all my life & it is historically a racially divided city/metro area, which makes this turnout even more incredible!

I don’t know if this was mentioned in any of the coverage of the event, but that building in the background is “The Old Courthouse” where the Dred Scott case was argued. The significance of the location was not lost on me today.
