By request from reader Caroline, just a reminder of what we’re fighting for. Senator Obama’s speech at the Iowa Jefferson-Jackson dinner nearly a year ago. This speech convinced me to endorse Senator Obama.

    Thank you for posting this. It makes me want to cry. Americans who do not vote for Obama are making the biggest mistakes of their lives and in the process are going to screw themselves, screw America, and screw the whole world.

    Thanks Bob. With all the horrible news of the economy and the frightening things going on politically, I think we sometimes need a reminder of what we’re all about as a people. After watching all these awful McCain/Palin videos, I feel sick to my stomach that there a people like this in our country. It does not make me proud to be an American when I see this kind of venom and ignorance. It makes me want to cry.
