However, the right wing is still able to manipulate the MSM while at the same time they are allowed to affix the label of liberal media to the MSM–this two-fer is an advantage and it must stop–we have a corporate media, not a liberal media–and if (I say if) the Dems control both houses and the Presidency, the corporate media’s fake balance will kick into overdrive–the Dems and the blogs must push back.

Regarding Palin’s 5th: The reason she’s not releasing medical records is she knows she’s gonna lose, and if she releases them it will clearly show that she was never pregnant, and it’ll blow up any chances she has for a political future (or any future for that matter).She’ll release them in 2012 when the baby thing is old news. By then they will have tightened up the story on why Trigger is living with the newlyweds…to give the two babies a chance to bond, and it’s a better place for Tigger than the campaign trail. At 2:07pm ET, MSNBC’s Alex Witt(less) reported that Police said the story was a hoax. She repeated several times that police said the story was a hoax. The host, Kevin Corke, had to question Witt(less) about the supposed victim’s naming of an alleged suspect (Bravo for him!) At that point, Witt(less) HAD to report that it was supposedly a 6ft.5in. BLACK man.I thought it was telling that Witt(less) NEVER once reported that the woman CONFESSED, only that police said it was a hoax.Ergo, wingnuts, a POLICE CONSPIRACY!

Okay, well, now that we know it was a hoax:1. The obvious backwardness of the B2. The B looked NOTHING like it was slashed into her face with a knife.3. If someone has just cut your face open with a knife… you would probably be bleeding heavily, so unless she had a field suturing kit on her, they probably wouldn’t have let her refuse medical treatment because she’d be BLEEDING FROM HER FUCKING FACE.

@LFOD–Anything is better for the baby than the campaign. Have you seen the pictures and how she lugs him like baggage? A child that age has few neck muscles and she holds him with the inside of one forearm while he flops about. There’s rarely a hand on him. Just that careless looking arm. I saw several in one sitting looking through the montage of the Dumbress’s New Clothes. I’d seen others. Yet the daughter holds him like a fragile baby.

Politics aside, I hope that she gets the help that she needs. Obviously, she has problems that require therapy, and this being a national story isn’t going to help with that.Of course, the fact that right wing sites took this and ran with it is a predictable disgrace. This story was pure horse crap from the git-go. She’s obviously the kind of chick that could beat off several male attackers at the same time and not look any worse for the wear.
