Great stuff. But yeah, the message is that he can’t do it alone. The fundraising is important, but the phone calls are as important, as he indicated at the end of the speech. The Obama online phone databank, where you get a list of numbers to call is truly the first of its kind. Hard to do at first, but it gets easier as you go. Everyone needs to do this.

What a way to start my day. This and Morning Blow talking enonomics and not politics admittedly because the numbers make it a foregone conclusion (knock on wood–their words).I’ve been riveted by Obama’s speeches since 2004′s convention when he hit my radar (and knocked it over). As I stood whooping in my living room that night I thought “someday he’ll be president” but I had no idea that it would be possible–SO possible–this soon. This feels like a damned good day. (What’s that creaking sound over my head?)

Here we have a demonstration of actually attempting bipartisanship and inclusion, rather than simply paying lip service to those ideas and then trying to starkly divide the American people against themselves. This is reason number 4,563,893,727,823 I’m voting for Barack Obama.

I’ve been inspired, I’ve been impressed, I’ve been moved. But this is the first time I’ve welled up with tears on hearing Senator Obama speak. How can anyone compare the inclusive message of Obama to any fascistic or destructive movement or ideology? For my own 10-year-old son and the world I want for him, for all the millions who crave a new way, I hopenpray that the election is clean enough and the Democrats vigilant enough to ensure votes are counted as they are cast.

Ceu posted this last night. If you know anyone who is looking like they might not bother to vote, plug in their name and send them this:http://thepoliticalcarnival.blogspot.com/2008/10/moveon-obamas-loss-traced-to-you.html
