Genius–simply genius–my favorite line is this:”Sure, it was in the context of what the McCain campaign is currently implying, but the coverage was so insistent upon figuring out the tactic that it only served to reinforce the plot.”This is what the right wing echo chamber has perfected–all the while claiming the media is liberal. Every right wing TP sticks, and none of the Democratic issues ever stick–seriously, NONE. Right now, I am seeing ACORN voter fraud on CNN…

    Bob, you wrote:

What about Sarah Palin’s association with the American Independence Party? The group’s stated goal is to secede from the United States — a treasonous offense.

Isn’t it the Alaskan Independence Party?Great article otherwise.

This fair and off balanced approach is the cable networks idea of covering their ass. I’ve noticed so much more of this of late especially with Anderson Cooper. You can always get the other side from the Rachel Maddow or Keith Obberman. That seems to be the only way to to balance the reporting of hate mongering and gain alternative information. Similar to the long list of associations you presented.Thank you Bob for saying all this so well. I’m glad I found you.

Hey Bob–I want to Digg this, and I think we should start digging all your articles–Can you or someone think of a good Digg title?–a little more descriptive that gets at the heart of the post? Hoo-sane is genius–and we get it, but maybe something more eye catching for the masses–

Did you guys see this on HuffPo? This is a brilliant move, to wait until McInsane is out of money and cannot counter it:Barack Obama has purchased a half-hour of airtime on CBS and NBC, sources confirm. The Obama campaign will air a primetime special on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. — less than a week before the general election.

    OMG Leeroy that is amazing.

Hey everybody. Am I the only one noticing that Grampa is making it more and more obvious every day that he has no idea what’s going on around him? This interview – even if what he says was true – makes no sense.http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/09/mccain-palin-pipeline/

I was yelling at Buchanan when I clicked to read your column… Tweety gave a whole lot of air time to McCain’s inciting the crowds with “Who is is Obama?” and Buchanan was chuckling that horrible laugh he has when he can’t deny the obvious. He was yelling how McCain’s trying to portray Obama as a foreigner, etc, but down-playing the importance of the effect of McCain’s speeches. What I see is an old man asking “Who will rid me of this uppity terrorist black guy?” They don’t want Obama’s background investigated – they want him dead. It’s appalling and MSM apparently thinks that’s acceptable.
