Republican CC Goldwater…

…obviously endorsed Senator Obama because CC is a black man.

Huh-what?!

CC Goldwater, the granddaughter of Barry Goldwater, is a white woman?

How can that be? Limbaugh and Buchanan and Malkin said that it’s all about race. Here’s Limbaugh saying it while using his pudgy hands as a megaphone so as to amplify his race-baiting:

So how could a white Republican woman endorse Senator Obama and not Sarah Palin? Limbaugh lied to us!

Bob, I don’t know if you’ve investigated this yet, but Congressman Wayne Gilchrest (R-MD) almost certainly endorsed Obama because he’s Black too. Right?

So many black people keep turning out to be moderate or conservative white people who are voting for Barack Obama! It’s all so confusing! But seriously, I’ve seen C.C. in a couple of interviews — she’s an impressive character. Glad to hear she’s aboard. I suppose Barry G. turned out to be more of a salutary figure once out of office than he was in it. That seems to be true of a lot of politicians–the process is so corruptive that it’s only when they get far enough away from it all that they can start making sense. Let’s all hope JMAC goes home to AZ and starts making MUCH more sense before it comes time to write his last book of memoirs. I think he’s allowed himself to be surrounded by the worst elements in his party–sleazy low-downers who will stop at nothing to fool the people one more time: the very same people who savaged him in 2000. One wants to judge pols the way one judges actors–by their best performances, not their worst–but the things some of these guys are willing to do in office or in the heat of a campaign makes that kind of generosity difficult to sustain.
