The Madness of the Mob

Earlier this month, Digby wrote a throwaway line about how Gore would’ve been impeached had he been president on 9/11. I found this to be chilling because yeah, that’s exactly what would’ve happened.

Watching these wackaloons, I’m absolutely convinced that if Senator Obama wins and there’s another 9/11-type attack on American soil, the far-right will be screaming for impeachment. Literally screaming. Naturally, their justification will be the Hoo-Sane Factor.

Va. Beach poll workers to ignore partisan garbBy the Associated PressOctober 25, 2008VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach’s voter registrar says poll workers are too busy to enforce a state ban on partisan clothing on Election Day.Registrar Pat Harrington has instructed workers not to worry about voters wearing political T-shirts, buttons, hats or other partisan garb. She called the new policy against political attire “a very impractical thing to enforce.”This month, the State Board of Elections decided to ban clothing or other paraphernalia that expressly advocates the election or defeat of a candidate or issue inside polling places.

These people are so incredibly hateful. And the funny thing is that the hate is not the result of anything Obama has said or done. But rather the false depiction of him that the the Repugs have set forth. Their hatred seems so intense, you would think it could only be the result of being personally harmed by the object of that hate. Instead its entirely imaginary and implanted in their feeble little minds by the likes of McCain and especially Palin. What sad horrible people.

WOW!!!!And just when I thought Amerikkka was better than that.

Bill Maher has also said this–if 9/11 happened on Gore’s watch it would have been game over. Meanwhile, it became Bush’s badge–in addition to the fact that it could be argued that Bush dropped the ball, and could have prevented 9/11 armed with the the knowledge of the 8/6 PDB.Not to mention Fox news would have probably had a running clock of the days since Bin Laden HADN’T BEN CAUGHT.This is why what McCain has done in his campaign is potentially so damaging to the country–

Of course had Gore been POTUS I doubt he’d have responded to a memo entitled, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” with a statement like, “All right. You’ve covered your ass, now.”9-11 was preventable! At the very least we could have minimized the effect. Maybe instead of four jets they’d only have been able to hijack 3 – or 2 – or 1 – or none!Think about it! This was willful ignorance! The same kind of willful ignorance we can expect from a POTUS that chooses a total knot-head for a running mate!I might add that knot-head is not opposed to the good ol’ boy network, she’s part of it:http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081025/ap_on_el_pr/palin_pipelineI'd laugh if my mouth weren’t full of vomit!

All of this shit just reminded me; what the fuck was Gore thinking when he put Lie-ber-man on the ticket? I voted for Al but didn’t like his choice then. Now it seems totally fucking NUTS! It’s another thing I’m trying to forget along with that song Indiana Wants Me. Terrible song, terrible choice.

I always thought Lieberman was a total mistake too for Gore. He was actually fairly popular back then I hated the choice. Lieberman is such a weenie. Everytime he talks im reminded of DroopyDog. “have a nice dayyy sirrr”

  • Poleezz

Oh you are soooooooo right! I had never made that connection. Indeed he IS Droopy Dog! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

These people remind me of the 5-Jesuses-in-one-group-therapy thing in Abby Psych 101. Each knows he is Jesus and feels the others just think they are Jesus. “I’m not a racist! They are racists but I have a degree in stupid and I am not a racist!”The one with the “degree in criminal justice” is the scariest, considering what his job may be.

Remember that Kerry was seriously engaging with McCain for VP, and we all thought that was a GOOD idea?!?!I’m getting more and more religious these days as I see a divine hand in how all this is playing out. A generation from now this will be seen as a pivotal moment in our Nation’s history. Let’s not F*ck it up Dems!! Have you phone-banked yet this weekend??

If Obama wins and we’ve got the House & Senate covered too, if an attack happens the wackaloons can scream all they want. I say Fuck ‘em.Anyway, what good does it do to worry about this kind of shit when we’ve got a depression brewing, we’re fighting 2 wars, and Global Warming’s slowly frying the planet? Like Butch said on the cliff over the river, Don’t worry about drowning, Sundance, the fall’s going to kill us.
