The Mob

People like this make me ashamed to be an American.

If Senator Obama wins this thing, this is a preview of what we’ll be hearing from angry, white, racist Republicans for four plus years.

UPDATE: Another one. These people are psychotic.

UPDATE THE SECOND: We simply can’t let this disgusting side of America win this election. I just can’t fathom these people winning.

I can’t even watch this shit. It makes me way too depressed. :(

    The ignorance is overwhelming

  • Poleezz

What a sad bunch of misinformed, uneducated, unreachable goofs.

Wow! They are so filled with hate and they can’t even name a specific reason why!!! Kudos to the protestors who spend their free time countering such idiocy!!!

I think it’s time for them to haul these people off after they yell this stuff and charge them. If it continues then they should just haul off McCain and Palin for inciting this stuff. McCain/Palin have turned America into some Middle Eastern nation with this support for calls of terrorism (and that is what it is).

  • Rollah

Bob, where is Secret Service? Isn’t it their job to look into all of these threats to targets under their protection, to see how credible the threats might be? Where are the rest of any political leaders — either side — demanding this stop? This isn’t political rally-time anymore; it’s crossed over into mob mentality. Where’s the 1st Amendment line on freedom of assembly vs. inciting riot?

  • Poleezz

I’ll bet the “fashion” loving guy at the end of part 2 has heard about Barack when he’s selling buttons at a Democratic rally! It’s obvious what type of people McCain/Palin attract. It’s our neighbors, family members, co-workers, and maybe even our friends. I know we all know them and that’s what really bothers me.

  • Strawdog

    This is bad.

As embarassing as it is to watch, I also have to live with it, as my parents are exactly like these people! And there is no talking rationally with them! I have been told that I will go to hell if I vote for Obama… guess what, I don’t care!

  • NotAPollStat

This is how McCain shows his “bipartisanship,” eh–eh–eh??? He claims HE is the one who can unify our country — yet he is stirring up this hatred. He needs one of these nut-jobs to harm Obama, because it’s the only way he feels he has a chance. It is disgusting how the corporate media is allowing this. But then, they allowed all of this same crap to start fomenting in the Democratic Primary, when Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly and the rest started spewing this garbage. And then Hillary Clinton gave credence to it when she picked up on it, specifically in the weeks before the PA primary.Corporate media has to show the power they hold by pouring on that gasoline. Corporate media WANTS and NEEDS their coverage to make a difference in the election. And besides — an assassination would make great TV ratings, wouldn’t it?

All this is begining to remind me of George Orwell’s two minutes of hate. They can’t answer questions, they only know hate.

  • lovetheblue

This shit makes me sick to my stomach. It’s all I can do to watch it, but I have to remind myself that ignorance is bliss to these people. They shouldn’t be allowed to procreate, let alone vote. God help them – and I’m not even a religious person in any way, shape or form.Truly, truly frightening.

what a first rate performance of “The March of the Hoopleheads”

  • sophieozz

Fortunately I’m not usually exposed to people like this, though I know they’re out there. Seeing this footage is a sore reminder of the hateful insanity that exists in the U.S.

  • cactusgal

People like this make me ashamed to be human.

  • gyutty

    GOP = NSDAP

  • Alan4s

Not only do they not discourage it, the McCain camp says it’s okay for these morons to be hateful:

“Barack Obama’s attacks on Americans who support John McCain reveal far more about him than they do about John McCain. It is clear that Barack Obama just doesn’t understand regular people and the issues they care about. He dismisses hardworking middle class Americans as clinging to guns and religion, while at the same time attacking average Americans at McCain rallies who are angry at Washington, Wall Street and the status quo,” reads a statement from spokesman Brian Rogers. …

As ugly as this fear-mongering and race-baiting crap is, I suggest we take a deep breath and look at the bright side. This entire strategy paints McCain into a lose-lose hand of cards, no matter how he plays the rest of the deal.http://cousinavi.wordpress.com/2008/10/11/mccains-catch-22/

I’ve just picked my jaw up and I’m disgusted. These people make me sick!

  • dontpanic23

These humanoid things remind me of a combination of circa 1964 white, hating, ignorant mobs in Mississippi (and AL and Ark and others) and the 60s era blue-collar hatred of the longhairs, hippies, flower children and war protesters (who were far from one group but were separate entities with some overlap–mainly the long hair). This is sick.
